Ace is my year-old Husky I got him in July of last summer. He is the first dog I've had in a long time plus he is the first time I've had a puppy. The dogs we had growing up were taken care of by my parents or my older sister. So I had to learn a lot fast.
I got Ace from a friend of a friend they just had a litter and were asking around and I had been wanting a dog for a long time now and everything just fell perfectly into place. I am glad I was on summer vacation when I got him I was only working part-time then so I was able to really put a lot of time into potty training and teaching him the house rules.
A lot of what people say about Huskys is true they are a lot to handle they have super high energy, are very stubborn, and are very smart which is a double-edged sword because when they do not want to do something they will find a way out of it at least mines like that. I used a lot of YouTube videos to help me with training tips one YouTuber was Sixty Formula. Even though he is a lot he is one of the sweetest boys you will ever meet he is always trying to make new friends with everybody dog cat, people even frogs he just want to be everyone's friend.
